Fratres Aeternum – Brothers Forever
VVA is a “home of our own” – a community of fellowship with people who share your experiences, needs, and hopes for the future.
When you join VVA Chapter 1084 in St. Johns County Florida, you are joining fellow Vietnam Veterans in 32 chapters in Florida and in over 650 chapters nationwide for fellowship, volunteer opportunities, and community service.
Be as active as your time, talents, and interests allow. Or, simply be a proud member of VVA, knowing that your membership helps VVA work for you and your fellow Vietnam veterans.
Membership includes access online to Vietnam Veterans of America’s award winning newspaper, The VVA Veteran, which brings you updates on issues and legislation affecting veterans, as well as unique articles on the people, places, and history of the Vietnam experience.
Membership is open to U.S. armed force veterans who served on active duty (for other than training purposes) in the Republic of Vietnam between February 28, 1961 and May 7, 1975, or in any duty location between August 5, 1964 and May 7, 1975.
Membership is $50 for a life membership, which is the only level of membership available. To join, you simply need to print out the membership application (a link to download the application is provided on the left) and attach a copy of your DD-214. If you don’t have a DD-214, it can be ordered from The National Archives link, which is also provided on the left. The application, DD-214 and your payment can be mailed to the address shown on the application, or you can bring it to our next chapter meeting.
Families, friends, supporters, and veterans of other eras can join the Associates of Vietnam Veterans of America and receive the same benefits.
IF YOU WEAR ONE OF THESE WE WANT YOU!
